Divine Grac A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada: The BEV
Society has been founded under the direction and inspiration of
His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami and named
appropriately to fulfill His desires. He is the Founder of over
300 institutions, academies, rural communities, and book
publishing houses throughout the world and is renowned in all
academic circles for His writings and teachings. He has authored
over 50 books on Vedic Philosophy, which have been translated
into more than 60 languages and our found in University
Libraries and homes all over the world. He is the Founder/Acharya
of ISKCON.
John
Sims: Chairman, American born, he is a successful active
businessman with interests in resorts and mining enterprises. He
is the director of the Mayapura Project, which is developing a
model city based on ancient principles on the banks of the
Ganges River in West Bengal. He is a trustee is several trusts
and foundations with global interests.
His
Holiness Chidananda Swami: A monk in the sacred renounced
order of life and has spent the last 40 years deeply studying
the Vedic Literatures and practicing austerities. His wisdom and
guidance is a divine light for all.
Tattva
Darshan das: President of Bhaktivedanta Eco Village. Tattva
has been extensively traveling and implementing various projects
in South East Asia for over 25 years. He has expertise in the
fields of agriculture, horticulture, education and alternative
community building.
Manusuta:
His lifelong dedication to the dissemination of the truth along
with his uncanny skills in marketing and trade has made him an
indispensable addition to our team. He has been partaking in
business pursuits worldwide since 1977. Through practice and
implementation ‘Manu’ has become well versed in the line of
Ayurveda alternative medicine, and growing of organic medicinal
herbs. He is by field experience, an expert in demand on
composting, organic fertilizers and natural agriculture.
Janava
Pada: Our culinary pillar, gourmet chef in several
traditions, with 30 years experience in dietary and nutritional
skills as well as numerous skills in arts and crafts. She
joyfully imparts her knowledge and abilities to all who come in
contact with her.
Krishna
Chaitanya: Presently pursuing an academic career at NIIT &
Business Administration with minors in music and art. His
services in the field of computers, organization and design are
very valuable and noteworthy.
Naveen Advaney: He is
one of the pillars of stability for the BEV society since its
inception. Bangalore based Naveen has been successful in export
orientated fashion garment manufacturing. His interests are
expanded into landscaping, marketing and nurseries for rare
and exotic species of plants. He has a special love for cows and
nature.
Peter
Wilmes: After more than 25 years of residence in India,
german born Peter Wilmes is now dedicated to cow protection,
ayurvedic plant nursery develolpment and a living example of
natural health conscious living. He also teaches Hatha yoga to
willing aspirants.
Eric
Bastien: Canadian born, he is a teacher with experience in
several Asian Countries, computer skills, and musical training
in the Indian traditions.
Anuradha:
Our secretary, accountant, treasurer, bookkeeper, site
supervisor, and liaison for minor government work. She is
presently an under graduate studying BSC. of Psychology with the
University of Madras.
Nina
Privat: With her French-Canadian descent, she has a flare
for design and detail. Her eagerness in the organic fields, her
love for animals and her compassion with the school children
make her a perfect assistant for all.
Dr.
Yves Lavoie: A Naturopath, Aroma Therapist and Homeopath
doctor from Montreal Canada who is organizing medical camps and
clinics at BEV under the banner of ‘Terra
Medica’.
